The U.S. refrained from commitments regarding peacekeepers in Ukraine, while France is ready to send troops after the cessation of hostilities.

After the "Coalition of the Willing" summit in Paris, the U.S. did not join a joint communiqué with Europe and Ukraine regarding participation in peacekeeping forces. This was reported by Politico.

According to special envoy of President Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, security protocols are largely agreed upon, but the participation of American troops in the peacekeeping operation has not been agreed. France, in turn, is ready to send "several thousand troops" after the cessation of hostilities, Emmanuel Macron reported.

Transatlantic relations remain a pressing issue: the discussion of Greenland, which could escalate the situation, was not commented on at the summit, although the White House noted that "various options," including military intervention, remain on the table.
