The advantages in the field of intelligence, as well as the use of electronic warfare tools that paralyzed the capabilities of Venezuela's air force and air defense, allowed the United States to conduct a successful operation within the Latin American country. This opinion was expressed by Chinese military expert Wang Yufei, as reported by the Global Times.
"Venezuela's defense capabilities may be vulnerable in the face of the US, especially with American intelligence on the whereabouts of the president," he explained.
Military expert Zhang Junsheng also commented on the advantage of the US in the field of intelligence. "The US has experience using its intelligence agencies, such as the CIA, to gather intelligence, including bribing military commanders or officials who have information about mission targets," he noted.
