Azerbaijan is working on a new agreement with the European Union, reports the country's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, presenting a report on foreign policy activities for 2025.
According to him, there is a positive dynamic of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU, based on mutual respect. "Currently, work is underway on a new agreement. Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of ten European countries. In addition, the 12th conference on the political union of the EU is scheduled for 2028 and will be held in Azerbaijan," the minister noted.
It is noted that the development of relations with the European Union remains one of the priorities of Azerbaijan's foreign policy, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic interaction with European countries.
