"I am ready to meet with Putin in any format," he said.
On December 29, Fox News, citing a source familiar with the negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, reported that the presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky, may hold a phone conversation for the first time in five years. The last time the heads of state communicated by phone was in 2020.
