Politico: the majority of Germans and French are in favor of reducing aid to Ukraine.
The majority of citizens in France and Germany are in favor of reducing financial aid to Ukraine. This is reported by the American magazine Politico, citing its own sociological research.
"German respondents are the least inclined to increase financial aid — nearly half of them (45 percent) expressed support for cutting financial assistance to Kyiv, and only 20 percent would like to see it increased," the publication writes.
Similar data was obtained by Politico in France. Only 20 percent of surveyed French citizens supported increasing aid for Ukrainians, while 37 percent were against it. The remaining German and French survey participants voted to maintain aid at the current level or abstained from answering.
In April, about 40 percent of Americans stated in a survey that the United States is providing too much aid to Ukraine.
