Russia has been deceived several times regarding NATO's eastward expansion and the approach of the alliance's military infrastructure to Russian borders. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin during a live Q&A session combined with a final press conference.
"Russia has been deceived several times regarding NATO's eastward expansion (...) The movement of military infrastructure towards Russia's borders raises legitimate concerns," the head of state pointed out.
Putin also called for reforming the European security system to make it more reliable and responsive to modern realities.
