Many dead and dozens injured as a result of drone and missile strikes by the Russian Federation on Ukraine

Russia launched a massive strike with drones and missiles on Ukraine last night. Air raid alerts were declared across the country, reports LETA citing BBC and Interfax-Ukraine.

In Ternopil, multi-storey residential buildings have been damaged, ten people have died, and 37 have been injured. The city has recorded elevated levels of chlorine in the air, and residents are advised to stay indoors.

In Kharkiv, the second largest city in the country, 46 people have been injured as a result of drone strikes, including two girls aged nine and 13. Sixteen apartment buildings, garages, enterprise buildings, an ambulance station, a supermarket, a school, and vehicles have been damaged.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, three people have been injured, including two children. Damage has been inflicted on energy infrastructure facilities.

In Ternopil, residential buildings have been destroyed, and there are casualties.

In Lviv region, an energy facility, a woodworking enterprise, and a warehouse have been damaged.

In Cherkasy region, power lines and other civil infrastructure have been damaged.

In many regions of Ukraine, electricity supply has been disrupted.
