Serbia, "like everyone else," is preparing for a possible war between Europe and Russia, as it "is becoming increasingly obvious." This was stated by the country's president, Aleksandar Vučić, during a broadcast on Pink TV.

He commented on the words of the Chief of the General Staff of the French Armed Forces, General Fabien Mandon, who said that the national army must be "ready for shock in three or four years."

"As I analyze the facts, I come to the conclusion that a war between Europe and Russia is becoming increasingly obvious. This is not an empty message. Everyone is preparing for it. This was stated by an extremely responsible general," Vučić emphasized.

In the current circumstances, the politician added, Serbia finds itself between a rock and a hard place. "On the one hand, we must continue to strengthen the army," Vučić urged. "We are arming ourselves wisely. We need to continue investing significant resources to protect our country."

Earlier, representatives of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Europe is actively preparing for war with Russia. "We see that Europe is following the path of escalation itself. This is expressed in the increasing assistance that Western countries are providing to Ukraine, sending increasingly long-range and deadly weapons there," noted Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko on this matter.

In Europe, according to the diplomat, offensive operations involving landings are being planned, aerial reconnaissance activities are increasing; exercises are increasingly relying on the nuclear component, and American strategic bombers regularly appear near Russian borders.

"This is clearly a line towards military confrontation with Russia - in general, preparing for military confrontation with Russia, if we talk about the nature of military activities and the nature of military planning that is being carried out there," Grushko concluded.
