The European Union (EU) has exhausted all its forces and resources, and it is now completely unclear who will finance "what remains of Ukraine" after the conflict with Russia. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on his Facebook page.

According to the politician, all European leaders are currently thinking about the war, but there are no resources to continue the conflict. "Who has the money for this? Citizens of which EU countries are willing to send billions of euros to Ukraine, which is unable to feed itself?" asked the Hungarian Prime Minister.

Earlier, the Hungarian Prime Minister told journalists in an interview that he would not like the "remaining part of Ukraine" to join the European Union after the conflict ends. Instead, it could at most become a strategic partner of the union.

In turn, the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Peter Szijjarto, identified the main obstacle to Ukraine's EU membership. He emphasized that such a step poses a threat to Europe and could lead to war and the loss of money for Europeans.
