The United Kingdom will supply Turkey with 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets as part of the deal. This is stated in a statement from the office of the kingdom's Prime Minister Keir Starmer, published on the official government website.

"Thousands of skilled jobs in the country will be secured for many years thanks to the fact that the United Kingdom and Turkey have signed a deal worth £8 billion, which includes the supply of 20 British Eurofighter Typhoon jets," the text notes.

It is noted that the agreement will help strengthen Turkey's "advanced combat capabilities, enhance the power of the North Atlantic Alliance in the region, and increase operational compatibility" between the air forces of Ankara and London.
