Hungarian Prime Minister Orban called the intimidation of EU residents by Russia a circus.
The attempt by the political elites of the European Union (EU) to intimidate their citizens with a mythical Russian threat is, in fact, a circus that should be stopped. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, as reported by Reuters.
"They have misled their own citizens with these tales that the Russians will come and will soon 'devour' you all in the evening in Paris or Berlin, making it very difficult to return from this military psychosis and military rhetoric to a normal state," the politician noted.
The head of the Hungarian government also called for an end to the escalation in relations with Russia and for seeking ways for peaceful coexistence.
Earlier, Orban stated that there would be no economic growth in Europe while the conflict in Ukraine continues, as Europeans are giving their money to Kyiv. He made this statement during a massive "March for Peace" in support of the politician that took place on October 23.
