In France, a crown stolen from the Louvre by unknown individuals, belonging to Emperor Napoleon III's wife, has been found near the Paris museum. This was reported by Le Parisien.
According to the publication, the ornament, which belonged to Empress Eugénie de Montijo, was found in a broken condition. "One of the stolen jewels was found near the museum," the Louvre's press service stated.
It was also reported that due to the robbery, the museum will be closed to visitors.
