Figure skater Margarita Drobiazko, who became a mother for the first time at 52, shared new photos of her daughter Nikolina with her followers.
The 54-year-old athlete published photos on her blog. In the pictures, she poses with her daughter against the backdrop of the sea and shows how the little girl curiously examines sculptures on the promenade.
"Where are you growing up so fast, little one?! You’re already so businesslike and independent," Drobiazko captioned the post.
Nikolina was born at the end of 2024 and became the first child of Margarita Drobiazko and her husband, figure skater Povilas Vanagas. The news of the athlete's pregnancy was a surprise to many fans at the time.
Later, Margarita shared that she did not feel fear before giving birth, and that her pregnancy and the arrival of her daughter were among the happiest events in her life.
Today, Drobiazko is 54 years old, and her husband Povilas Vanagas is 55. The couple has been married for over two decades and is considered one of the strongest in the world of figure skating.
The new photos of Nikolina elicited warm reactions from followers, who noted how quickly the girl is growing and wished the family happiness and health.
