This is a cheap but effective remedy for your plot.
Baking soda has long been a familiar helper in garden plots and is used as a universal remedy for plant care. It is used both for disease prevention and for protection against pests.
During the ripening of grapes, the vine is sprayed with a baking soda solution prepared at a ratio of 75 grams of powder to ten liters of water. This treatment helps to inhibit the development of gray mold and positively affects the accumulation of sugars in the berries. The same solution is used to treat fruit trees to reduce the number of caterpillars.
A mixture of one teaspoon of baking soda per liter of water is suitable for cucumbers. It is used to prevent powdery mildew. Gooseberries and currants are treated with a multi-component solution: one tablespoon of baking soda, one aspirin tablet, one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid, and one tablespoon of vegetable oil in 4.5 liters of water.
Additionally, a solution with one tablespoon of baking soda in ten liters of water is suitable for watering cucumbers when the leaves turn yellow. Cabbage is protected from caterpillars using a "dry" method: the leaves are simply dusted with baking soda.
