Dear Woman: Top Simple Tips to Create a Million-Dollar Look

As is known, people still judge by appearance, but this collective phrase has long expanded its boundaries. And to choose that perfect look of a wealthy and luxurious girl, it is not necessary to focus on brands or the cost of items. It is enough to know a few simple secrets.

Beauty expert, celebrity makeup artist Alena Sidorova listed several important nuances that will allow you to look like a potential billionaire's wife.

It All Starts with the Face

“In makeup, it’s better to use calm, non-shouting colors. We focus on the skin. It should look as if it is 'lit from within' and have a healthy appearance. Therefore, we avoid harsh contouring, and when choosing a highlighter, we pay attention to finely milled (without glitter) and apply it to the cheekbones, the inner corners of the eyes, above the upper lip, and not too actively under the brow and on the bridge of the nose (for mature skin, a cream highlighter is ideal). Blush always refreshes and rejuvenates, so don’t forget about it and apply it to the apples of the cheeks and on the eyelid,” the expert recommends.

Avoid thick foundations; it’s better to opt for a CC cream and set the effect with matte powder. To make the eyes look rested, apply concealer not in a triangle but at the inner corner of the eye, blending downwards, and at the outer corner of the eye, blending towards the temple. A neat eyeliner is also appropriate (for a soft effect, it’s better to use eyeshadow). Classic black mascara is preferable, but brown is also in trend now. When choosing lipstick, focus on nude shades, or you can outline with a pencil close to the lip color, blend it with your finger, and apply gloss.

What About Your Hair?

Expensive looks are not about voluminous hairstyles with teasing or curls, but about straight hair. It doesn’t matter if it’s loose, styled in a strict ponytail, or a bun. It’s important to pay attention to the condition of the hair. With unwashed, greasy locks, you shouldn’t even go to the theater, let alone the local store. Maintain health and a well-groomed appearance with regular care. Split ends, hair tortured by curling irons, and frizz have never looked good on anyone. Hair coloring could be a separate topic, but briefly, the rules don’t change. We only dye with a professional who will choose the perfect shade for your color type and can implement it correctly. Or (even better) we wear our natural color. If nature blessed you with it, then you don’t need a colorist.

Now You Can Dress Up

Clothing should be chosen according to the occasion, just like the hairstyle. These are simple silhouettes, fitting perfectly. No oversized items, tracksuits, glitter, or rhinestones. Suits, minimalist dresses with blazers, pencil skirts, midi or A-line silhouettes are what you should choose for an outing.

Colors should also be neutral, with ideal combinations: white and beige, deep chocolate, black. Don’t overload the look with accessories. Don’t forget about your hands. Manicures should be simple (nude, French) and not too long. Nowadays, 'expensive' women do not wear long acrylic nails.

The most important rule is elegance in simplicity! So don’t overdo it.
