A simple and quick "lazy" pie will make a great snack or homemade pastry.
Ingredients
- Thin lavash — 2–3 pcs.
- Hard cheese — 100 g
- Soft cheese — 100 g
- Spinach — large bunch
- Chicken eggs — 2 pcs.
- Salt — to taste
- Ground black pepper — to taste
- Sour cream — 3 tbsp.
- Butter — 50 g
- Vegetable oil — 2–3 tbsp.
- Sesame seeds — to taste
You can use not only hard or soft cheese: Adyghe, Suluguni, mozzarella, etc. Fresh or frozen spinach is suitable.
Preparation
- Blanch fresh spinach for 2 minutes in boiling water and chop. Thaw frozen spinach, squeeze out excess water, and chop.
- Sauté the spinach for a few minutes with a small amount of butter, then let it cool.
- Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, add sour cream, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
- Brush a sheet of lavash with vegetable oil, place the grated cheese mixed with the cooled spinach on top.
- Freeze the remaining butter, grate it, and distribute it over the filling.
- Roll the lavash into a roll and arrange it in a spiral in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Form the remaining rolls in the same way and place them in the dish, forming a pie.
- Pour the egg and sour cream mixture over the base, and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the pie from the oven, cut into portions, and serve. It is suitable both hot and cold.
