Pear Chili Sauce: An Unusual Recipe

Thanks to the pears, the sauce has a sweet taste, while the pepper gives it a rich aroma. The spicy sauce made from chili pepper, bell pepper, and pear will surely surprise your guests. It pairs well with cheese and is suitable for meat, fish, vegetables, or snacks.

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • pears - 500 g

  • bell pepper - 250 g

  • chili pepper - 2 pcs.

  • sugar - 100 g

  • salt - 1 tsp.

  • 9% vinegar - 50 ml.

Preparation:

  • Wash the pears, remove the core, and cut them into small cubes.

  • Clean the bell pepper from seeds and stems, and cut it into medium pieces.

  • Slice the chili pepper into rings.

  • In a pot, combine the pears, bell pepper, chili pepper, add sugar, salt, pour in vinegar, mix, and let it sit for 30 minutes. Place the pot over medium heat, bring to a boil, cook for ten minutes, then blend with an immersion blender until smooth.

  • Return the pot to the heat and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.

  • Pour into jars, let cool, and store in the refrigerator.

This sauce can be prepared for winter; for this, it should be poured into sterilized jars, tightly closed, and stored in a cool place.
