Russian comedian Maxim Galkin has parted ways with his Bentley of the rare Arnage modification. Auto experts have estimated its approximate value.
According to a popular online classifieds service, a used car of this model can cost from 2.3 to 4.5 million rubles (or from 27 to 46 thousand euros - ed.). However, according to an expert's assessment, Galkin managed to sell it for a higher amount: the identity of the previous owner plays a significant role here. "It is important to consider the fact that this car was driven by Maxim Galkin and his wife Alla Pugacheva," explained Popov. The name of the previous owner is a significant asset in the collectible car market and can add at least half a million rubles to the value of the lot. "For collectors, these details are of immense interest. So the car cost the new owner over five million rubles," the auto experts stated.
As it became known to journalists, the artist has owned the Bentley with a 6.75-liter engine since 2003. A total of about four thousand such cars were produced from 1998 to 2005 with two engine options, including nearly 200 of them in a special edition.
