Russian forward Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins scored two goals against Colorado in an away game of the NHL regular season.
The 39-year-old Russian scored in the 4th minute to open the scoring. In the 13th minute, he completed a double, making the score 3-1 in favor of his team.
Previously, Malkin missed five games of his team due to suspension — in a game against Buffalo, he received a match penalty for a high stick to the face of defenseman Rasmus Dahlin.
In the 2025/26 season, Malkin recorded 49 points (15+34) in 46 games.
