A court hearing on the division of jointly acquired property of the late basketball player Janis Timma and singer Anna Sedokova will take place in Moscow on March 2 at 14:30, reported the family's lawyer Margarita Gavrilova to the LETA agency.
The lawyer explained that the essence of the claim is the division of property acquired jointly during the marriage.
Gavrilova noted that the court plans to determine the amount of funds in Sedokova's bank accounts, deposits, shares in capital, and other assets, as well as to address the issue of real estate that was registered in Sedokova's name during the marriage and later alienated without transferring a share to Timma.
Timma's share in the specified real estate is currently the subject of legal proceedings, Gavrilova reported.
On February 17, the lawyer announced on her Instagram profile that the first court hearing is scheduled for March 2 at the Khoroshevsky District Court in Moscow.
As previously reported, basketball player Timma passed away in Moscow on December 17, 2024.
Media reported that the body of the 32-year-old basketball player was found in the entrance of a residential building in central Moscow. He took his own life.
In October 2024, Timma decided to continue his career in a tournament organized by the Russian betting company "Liga Stavok," representing the team "Alikson."
As part of the Latvian national team, Timma played 68 matches.
