The opening ceremony of the XXV Winter Olympic Games took place in Milan. The Games will continue until February 22.
A part of the Latvian team passed through the San Siro stadium in Milan, where over 70,000 spectators gathered. The Latvian flag was carried by hockey player Kaspars Daugavins.
