The 26-year-old Slovenian guard of the Los Angeles Lakers, Luka Dončić, matched the achievement of NBA legend Michael Jordan in the first game of the league's regular season.
As reported by Real Sports on social media, Dončić and Jordan are the only guards in NBA history to achieve the following statistics in such games — 40 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists.
Last night, Dončić scored 43 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and made nine assists in a game against the Golden State Warriors (109–119). Jordan achieved a similar feat in 1989.
