According to Basket News, 83 NBA players were born after James first took the court on October 29, 2003.
Over 22 seasons in the league, LeBron James has become a symbol of longevity in professional sports. As the 2025/2026 season begins, he continues to play for the Los Angeles Lakers and is preparing for his 23rd year in the NBA. On December 30, the forward will celebrate his 41st birthday.
Among the 30 teams in the league, the most players born after James' debut are with the Washington Wizards — eight. The Lakers have three such players — the basketball player's son Bronny James, rookie Adu Tiero, and two-way contract guard Nick Smith Jr.
