Tomorrow, a large international Drone Summit 2026 will take place in Riga, essentially a showcase of modern weaponry.
The summit will gather up to 2000 participants from NATO countries and partner states, including political leaders of the international drone coalition and leading industry experts.
The forum's program includes panel discussions, business meetings, drone workshops, and a large technology exhibition.
Moreover, today, on Tuesday, at the Sēlija military training ground, it is reported that the latest drone technologies and counter-drone systems were to be presented and tested under conditions close to real ones.
According to the editorial board of bb.lv, against the backdrop of recent incidents with drones in Latvia, organizing such a forum emphasizes its necessity, and we sincerely hope that the National Armed Forces of Latvia will finally acquire the necessary skills at it. Both the beloved city and the country will be able to sleep peacefully again!
