At this moment, a speech by the Minister of Economy Viktor Valainis was scheduled in the Saeima - today there are debates in parliament regarding the situation in the economy and finance. However, the minister did not have time to speak, as he departed for an emergency meeting of the crisis council convened by Evika Silina. As reported by the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mierina, Valainis will address the deputies later. Meanwhile, the crisis council meeting has already begun. The only item on the agenda is the nighttime incident involving the incursion of several drones from Russia into Latvia.

The main speaker is Minister of Defense Andris Spruds. He, like many other speakers, will be addressing the meeting remotely, as they are already in the epicenter of events. Among the speakers are the heads of the Ludza, Balvi, and Rezekne municipalities, as well as a representative from the State Security Service.
