The President of Latvia, Edgar Rinkēvičs, will participate in the Three Seas Initiative summit in Croatia on Tuesday, April 28, as reported by the president's office.
According to information on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, alongside the ITM summit in Dubrovnik, a business forum will also take place.
The summit will feature discussions on issues of transport, energy, and digital compatibility, strengthening energy security, developing strategic infrastructure, and promoting the resilience and competitiveness of the European Union (EU).
The business forum is expected to gather more than 1,200 politicians, business leaders, investors, and representatives of financial institutions from several countries, with the focus of their discussions centered on transport, energy, the digital industry, dual-use goods, and finance.
ITM is a platform for economic cooperation that was established at the initiative of the presidents of the region's countries on August 25, 2016, at the first summit in Croatia.
