Minister of Finance Arvils Asheradens (New Time) received a remuneration of 116,685 euros in his position last year, which is 1.1% more than the previous year, according to the published declaration of the official Asheradens for 2025, writes LETA.
Last year, Asheradens also received 134 euros from the investment management company "Luminor Asset Management."
Asheradens declared that at the end of last year, he owned money market instruments worth 194,345 euros and 203,167 US dollars.
Asheradens' declared liabilities at the end of 2025 amounted to 18,468 euros. Over the year, the minister's liabilities decreased by 5,503 euros.
At the end of 2025, the minister owned real estate in Riga and the Rojas municipality, as well as jointly owned land in the Liezer municipality. At the end of last year, Asheradens had a 2020 "Volvo XC60" car in his possession.
Among other positions that the declarant holds besides being a public official, Asheradens indicated his roles as a board member in the "Unity" party and the "New Unity" party association, as well as a board member in the "Rojas jahtklubs" society and a representative in the "Freedom and Media Development Fund."
According to the declaration, Asheradens is also a representative of Latvia in the European Stability Mechanism and holds positions as an authorized representative in the World Bank group, the Nordic Investment Bank, the European Investment Bank, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
