The opposition party 'Tisa', led by Peter Madjar, receives 132 seats in parliament after processing 29.2% of the votes.

The FIDES–KDNP alliance, led by the current leader of Hungary, Viktor Orban, can currently count on only 59 seats in parliament. The strong support from U.S. President Donald Trump did not help.

There are a total of 199 seats in the Hungarian parliament. To enter parliament, political parties must overcome a five-percent threshold.

Independent sociological surveys predicted a confident victory for the 'Tisa' party, but those close to the government suggest that Orban's party will maintain a parliamentary majority.

According to Hungarian laws, the votes must be counted no later than Saturday, April 18.
