As previously reported, activists of the newly established party Austošā saule ('Rising Sun') gathered outside the office of 'New Unity' to protest against mass migration. Austošā saule activist Jānis Zalans stated that the current generation has not yet overcome the consequences of the previous wave of migrants, who formed enclaves in Latvia, and according to the speaker, 'Latvians feel like foreigners in these enclaves, as foreign languages are spoken everywhere.'

'New permanent residence permits are still being issued to citizens of Russia... And now we are being imposed with new immigrants from third countries! This means we have to deal with the consequences of two waves of migration at once!' lamented the politician of the new nationalist party. He called to 'deport from Latvia the citizens of all unfriendly countries.'
