The Saeima deputy is dissatisfied that the list of Latvian companies trading with Russia and Belarus has still not appeared.
Due to legal nuances, the government has paused the publication of the current list of companies maintaining economic ties with the Russian Federation and Belarus. This displeased Saeima deputy from the National Alliance, Jānis Dombrava, who expressed a harsh comment on social media:
"The development of a country is closely linked to the order that prevails within it - how quickly and effectively decisions are implemented. This time, it is irrelevant who thinks about the decision to publish the list of companies that continue to trade with the aggressor country. It is about the execution of the decision. This case confirms the complete inability of the state led by Siliņa to fulfill a basic decision.
By April 7, the government was supposed to publish the list. On April 7, Siliņa woke up and publicly reproached the Minister of Economics, Vāgnis, for the failure to execute the decision. Vāgnis publicly responded that the Minister of Finance, Asheradens, was to blame. Asheradens woke up and said he would work together with the Ministry of Economics to publish the list. On April 8, the decision was still not executed. No one knows when the decision will be fulfilled... You can't govern a country like this!
Such a superficial approach is the reason why the implementation of RailBaltic has gone completely awry. This is why neighboring countries are ahead of us on many issues. It is not a weak state, but the government is led by people who lack the ability to do this. As a result, the entire nation suffers.
