During the winter session, the Saeima held 13 meetings, including 12 regular and one extraordinary, according to information on the Saeima's website.

An extraordinary meeting of the Saeima was convened on February 24, marking four years since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. The deputies honored the memory of those who died in the war and once again expressed Latvia's support for Ukraine. The meeting featured speeches by President Edgars Rinkēvičs, Saeima Speaker Daiga Mieriņa, and Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk.

As reported, on April 2, the Saeima concluded the winter session, which began on January 9 of this year. The spring session is scheduled to start on April 10 and end on June 19.

The Saeima's regulations provide for regular and extraordinary sessions. The parliament has three regular sessions each year - autumn, winter, and spring, and extraordinary meetings may be convened in the interim to address important issues.
