Economy Minister Viktor Valainis has arrived in Florida to participate in a high-level meeting with entrepreneurs and investors. The meeting is taking place at the residence of U.S. President Donald Trump in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
During the visit, opportunities for cooperation and investment in technology, financial markets, energy, and other strategically important sectors are being discussed. The meeting was held at the residence of U.S. President Donald Trump, bringing together several leaders and representatives of the largest companies and investment funds in the United States.
Economy Minister Viktor Valainis emphasizes Latvia's interest in strengthening transatlantic economic cooperation: "This meeting with the largest entrepreneurs in the U.S. is an important step in expanding economic relations between Latvia and the United States of America. Latvia is open to high value-added investments in the technology, financial, and energy sectors. We see broad opportunities for cooperation, especially in the development of innovations and the digital economy, and we are ready to be a reliable partner for long-term investment projects."
The meeting also includes Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., as well as Alex Witkoff and Zach Witkoff.
As part of the visit, individual negotiations were also held with potential investors on specific cooperation projects across the entire Baltic region.
The Ministry of Economy notes that such high-level meetings contribute to Latvia's international competitiveness and strengthen the country's position in the global investment market.
