Congratulating on the 107th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, many foreign leaders sent their congratulations, reported bb.lv from the office of the President of Latvia.
"Our countries have been building a close partnership and friendship for over a century. I am proud of the progress our governments have achieved together in energy and law enforcement cooperation. I also greatly appreciate Latvia's commitment to allocate five percent of its GDP for defense needs by 2026 to support transatlantic security and NATO. Please accept our congratulations on the anniversary of your independence. The United States of America is a partner, ally, and friend of Latvia," said U.S. President Donald Trump in his congratulatory message.
"On the occasion of the 107th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Latvia, I would like to express my sincerest congratulations and best wishes to your country and its people for prosperity and well-being. The bilateral relations between Finland and Latvia have become even closer in recent years, and I look forward to further deepening our cooperation. I have particularly warm memories of my state visit to Latvia in September," wrote President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb in his congratulatory letter.
"On behalf of the entire French people and myself personally, it is a great honor for me to congratulate you and the entire Latvian nation on the anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Latvia. France highly values its friendship with Latvia, based on our long common history, close bilateral relations, and strategic cooperation that serves our interests, the security of Europe, and support for Ukraine facing Russia's aggressive war," said President of France Emmanuel Macron in his congratulatory message.
"The celebration of November 18 — the day of the proclamation of the independence of the Republic of Latvia — symbolizes the unwavering commitment of the Latvian people to freedom, self-determination, and building their own sovereign future. We, the Polish people, are well aware of the significance of this holiday. Our shared historical experience, based on years of struggles for independence, today serves as a wonderful foundation for the development of mutual relations between our nations," emphasized President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki in his congratulatory message.
"Latvia is one of Ukraine's most principled partners and allies in the fight for freedom, sovereignty, and the right to determine its own future. We also feel your full support for Ukraine's aspiration to become a full member of the European Union and NATO. I sincerely thank the Latvian people for their unwavering support and comprehensive assistance. I am confident that through our joint efforts, we will surely achieve victory over the aggressor — Russia and its supporters, and restore peace, stability, and security on the European continent," said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his congratulatory message.

The leadership and humanity demonstrated by the government and people of Latvia reflect the values that unite our countries," stated Governor General of Canada Mary Simon in her congratulatory message.
Latvia was also congratulated on its holiday by the Emperor of Japan, the King of Spain, the King of the Netherlands, the King of Belgium, the King and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, the President of the Republic of Estonia, the President of the Republic of Lithuania, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, the President of the Czech Republic, the President of the Republic of Korea, and other high-ranking foreign officials.
