In the popularity ranking of parties in October-November, the leading position was taken by the opposition party of the Saeima "Latvia First," while the largest decline was shown by the National Alliance, according to the survey data conducted by SKDS on behalf of Latvian Television.
The rating of "Latvia First" increased from 8.9 percent in July to 9.5 percent in October-November.
The rating of the National Alliance experienced the largest decline: while in July 9.7 percent of residents were ready to vote for it, now only 6.4 percent of respondents are.
In second place in the ranking is "New Unity," which 9.3 percent of respondents are ready to support, compared to 7 percent in July.
"Progressives" are supported by 6.8 percent of respondents, which is a decline compared to July, when 8 percent of respondents were ready to vote for them.
"United List" would be supported by 6.5 percent of respondents, while in July this party was supported by 6.3 percent.
"Union of Greens and Farmers" would receive support from 5.8 percent of respondents, which is less than in July when 6.6 percent of residents confirmed support for this party.
"Sovereign Power" would receive 4.4 percent support. In July, this figure was 5.4 percent.
The party "For Stability!" would be supported by 3.6 percent of respondents, while "Harmony" would receive 2 percent support.
Support for other parties is below 2 percent.
Among respondents, 22.2 percent stated that they do not know who they would vote for, and 16.2 percent said they would not participate in the Saeima elections.
If the Saeima elections were held now and residents acted as they promised in the survey, the five percent barrier would be crossed and eight parties would enter the Saeima — "New Unity," "Latvia First," "Progressives," "National Alliance," "United List," "Union of Greens and Farmers," "Sovereign Power," and "For Stability!".
The survey involved 1,815 respondents. It was conducted from October 25 to November 4.
