In the family of Riga residents, three sons were born on June 18 at 9:18. The first boy weighed 1610 grams, the second weighed 1390 grams, and the third weighed 1830 grams.
The mother and the newborns are doing well and receiving the necessary medical care. Stradins Hospital congratulates the family on the significant addition and wishes the babies good health.
This is the second set of triplets born this year at the Perinatal Center of Stradins Hospital. The first triplets in Latvia this year were born on March 12 at the Riga Maternity Hospital, where two boys and one girl were delivered.
The government usually allocates a special one-time allowance to the parents of triplets, which amounted to 15,000 euros last year. Local governments also provide financial support.
