The daughter of legendary actor Pauls Butkevich, Alena, is outraged that the last week of her father's life was not peaceful, reports the publication Privātā Dzīve.
“At first, Dad was in the Jekabpils Hospital. I have no kind words about this clinic. My father developed bedsores, and he did not receive proper care. When we demanded an explanation of what treatment was being conducted and what the diagnosis was, we were refused information.
One day I noticed that my father had stitched wounds on his head. How could such wounds appear if he couldn’t even turn over by himself? The doctors never explained what happened. It looked terrible,” says Alena.
She also reported that she transferred Pauls Butkevich to the hospital in Aizkraukle.
According to her, the treatment of patients there was very good and professional.
Alena is considering suing the Jekabpils Hospital.
