On Thursday morning, the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (CPCB) conducted searches at the Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital, the Trauma and Orthopedics Hospital, and the Vidzeme Hospital in Valmiera, according to information available to the LETA agency.
It is known that the investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO), whose aim is to hold accountable those responsible for crimes against the financial interests of the European Union.
