On Thursday in Latvia, the northern and northwestern winds will reach 12–17 meters per second in gusts, with the windiest day expected in Riga and Zemgale, reports LETA.
Meteorologists forecast that no precipitation is expected, and the sky will be mostly partly cloudy.
The air temperature will rise to +6..+11 degrees.
In Riga, dry and sunny weather is expected, with wind gusts occasionally reaching 17 meters per second, and the air temperature will be +6..+8 degrees.
The weather conditions are determined by the western periphery of the cyclone. The atmospheric pressure at sea level will range from 1004 hPa in Latgale to 1012 hPa in Kurzeme.
