On Thursday, light rain will occur in many areas of Latvia, and at times it will be more intense in some places, forecasters predict, writes LETA.
A larger amount of precipitation is expected in the southeastern regions, as well as locally in Vidzeme. The sun will shine in many places across the country. The wind will mostly remain light.
The maximum air temperature will range from +7 degrees in some coastal areas to +16 degrees in the northeast of the country.
In Riga, light rain is possible at times, with a light northern to northwestern wind, and the air temperature in the afternoon will be +7 to +9 degrees.
Weather conditions are determined by a cyclone. Atmospheric pressure has dropped to 1016–1020 hPa at sea level.
