Today at 9:00 AM, an auction for the right to lease the Ungurmuiža complex will take place at the Straupe Municipality Culture House, the local government informed the LETA agency.
Two candidates have submitted applications to participate in the auction.
Ungurmuiža is an ensemble of wooden architecture from the 18th century and a monument of national cultural significance. The leased property includes an area of 17.59 hectares with buildings, outbuildings, and a park.
The local government has called for applications from interested parties willing to develop the Ungurmuiža complex, ensuring its preservation, management, and public accessibility.
The starting price of the auction is set at 1000 euros per month, excluding value-added tax, with an auction increment of 50 euros and a security deposit of 1000 euros.
