Cool, humid, and windy weather will persist in Latvia on Tuesday, forecasters predict, LETA reports.
The intensity of precipitation and wind will be less than in the past 24 hours. Throughout the day, the sun will break through the clouds in many places.
The northern and northwestern wind will gust up to 11–16 meters per second in places, reaching up to 19 meters per second on the coast.
The maximum air temperature will be only +3 to +7 degrees.
In Riga, there will be occasional rain, and by evening, the clouds will decrease. The northern and northwestern wind will gust up to 17 meters per second. The air temperature will not exceed +6 degrees.
The weather conditions are determined by the western periphery of the cyclone. The atmospheric pressure at sea level will range from 999 hectopascals at the border with Russia to 1010 hectopascals on the southern coast of Kurzeme.
