In some areas of the western and central regions of Latvia, light rain is expected at night and on Sunday, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC), as reported by LETA.
At night, the sky will be cloudy in the western and central parts of the country, with light rain expected in some areas, while the east will remain partly cloudy and dry. A light wind will blow, and mist may form in some regions. Nighttime temperatures will drop to -2 to +2 degrees.
On Sunday, cloudy weather will persist in the western part of the country, with occasional light rain possible. In the east, clouds will intermittently cover the sun, but no precipitation is expected. The wind will remain light. The maximum air temperature will reach +10 to +15 degrees, while on the coast and in the western part of the country, it will not exceed +4 to +9 degrees.
In Riga, variable cloudiness is expected on the night of Sunday, with no significant precipitation forecasted. A light wind will blow, and the air temperature will drop to +1 to +2 degrees. During the day, the weather will mostly be sunny, with clouds occasionally covering the sky. No precipitation is expected. The wind will remain light, and the maximum air temperature in the capital on Sunday will be around +10 degrees.
