25 years of working hard, without relaxing
The head of the real estate transactions association, Aigars Shmits, noted in an interview with TV-24 that it is beneficial for the state to 'pull' us into, for example, a mortgage. After all, if a person takes out a loan for 25 years, then for all those 25 years, they will be very economically active and will work without a break. At the same time, the person will always be under stress.
"But given the current prices for apartments in new projects, even if a family pays 1000 euros a month for a loan, they can only afford to buy an apartment of 40-45 square meters! And this is definitely not what a young family needs!" the expert states.
