On Thursday, predominantly cloudy weather is expected in Latvia, with a few snowflakes falling in some northern areas, forecasts the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre (LEGMC), writes LETA.
The weak southern and southwestern winds in the coastal areas will strengthen in gusts up to 15-18 meters per second. The air temperature will rise to -2…+3 degrees.
In Riga, it will be mostly cloudy, and significant precipitation is still not expected. A moderate southern and southwestern wind will blow, which will strengthen to 15 m/s in the afternoon. The air temperature in the capital will be around zero.
