After two heats on the first day of the competition, Elina Ieva Bota was in 3rd place.
However, in the third heat, her competitor, the German Merle Frebele, who was in 2nd place, made serious mistakes and dropped out of the medal contention.
In the final heat, Bota confidently navigated the challenging course and won the silver medal.
