On Tuesday, snow is expected in various regions of Latvia, while in some places the sun will peek through the clouds, forecasters predict, according to LETA.
In the evening, a vast area of precipitation will begin to move across the central and eastern parts of the country from the south.
During the day, temperatures will rise slightly in northern Vidzeme, while in other regions of Latvia, they will mostly decrease. By midday, thermometers will show between -2 and -7 degrees.
A light southeast wind is expected.
In Riga, no significant precipitation is forecasted until the evening, with temperatures dropping to -4 to -5 degrees.
Weather conditions are influenced by areas of low pressure. Atmospheric pressure at sea level ranges from 1014 hPa in Kurzeme to 1020 hPa in the eastern part of the country.
