The Blood Donation Center Calls for Blood Donations

The State Blood Donation Center (VADC) calls for help to replenish blood supplies, which are in short supply after the holidays, to ensure necessary assistance to patients, reports LETA citing the institution.

Today, blood can be donated at the stadium in Jekabpils at 289 Brivibas Street from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Limbazi Culture House at 9 Rigas Street from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and also at the territory of 'Skanstes City' in Riga at 50B Skanstes Street from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Tomorrow, January 6, donors will be welcomed at the Livani Entrepreneurship Support Center at 3 Domes Street from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, as well as at the P. Stradins Clinical University Hospital at 13 Pilsonu Street from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. On Tuesday, blood can also be donated at the Iecava Culture House at 18 Rigas Street from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

On Wednesday, January 7, blood can be donated at the Nica Culture House at 6 Bartas Street, as well as at the promenades of the VEF quarter, in the sixth building at 10 Uniņas Street, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

On Thursday, January 8, donors will be awaited at the Varaklani Polyclinic at 25A Pils Street from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On this day, blood can also be donated at the 'Domina Shopping' mall from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, as well as at the National Rehabilitation Center 'Vaivari' in Jurmala, 61 Asaru Avenue, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

On Friday, January 9, blood can be donated at the Aglona Culture House at 34 Somersetas Street from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the 'Mols' shopping center at 46 Krasta Street from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and also at the 'Sāga' shopping center at 4 Bikeru Street from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Blood can also be donated at permanent donation points throughout Latvia. In Riga, donors are accepted at 9 Selpils Street, as well as at the 'Gailezers' point at 2 Hipokrata Street and 'Sakta' at 32 Brivibas Boulevard.

Permanent points are also operating at the Daugavpils Regional Hospital at 5 Viestura Street, at the Kurzeme branch in Liepaja at 25 Slimnicas Street, at the Jelgava City Hospital at 6 Brivibas Boulevard, at the Vidzeme Hospital in Valmiera at 195 Jumara Street, and at the Latgale branch in Rezekne at 41 November 18 Street.
