The air temperature in the second half of the day is expected to range from zero degrees in the northeast of the country to +6 degrees in the southwest of Kurzeme; by evening, temperatures will drop below zero in most parts of Latvia.
A weak to moderate north, northeast wind will blow, with gusts up to 13 meters per second in the central and eastern parts of the country.
In Riga, rain is forecasted at night, and the day may pass without precipitation, with the weather clearing up on Friday evening. During the day, gusts of the north wind are expected to reach up to 13 meters per second. The air temperature will drop from +7 to zero degrees.
