On Tuesday, rain is expected at times in most of Latvia, forecasters predict, LETA reports.
The sky will be mostly overcast, with some haze persisting in the eastern regions.
Moderate south-western and western winds are expected, with gusts of up to 14 meters per second possible along the coast.
The maximum air temperature will reach +5 to +9 degrees.
In Riga, there will be occasional rain, with a light to moderate south-western wind, and the air temperature will be +8 degrees.
It was previously reported that a temperature record was broken on December 9 in Stende with a temperature of +8.8 degrees and in Mersrags with +9.2 degrees. The national record for this date is +9.8 degrees, recorded in 2006 in Pāvilosta.
The weather conditions are determined by the southern part of the cyclone.
