Saturday in Latvia will be overcast and unusually warm for December, forecasts the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Centre.
On the night of Saturday, the sky will be overcast, and there will be occasional light rain. In some regions, fog will thicken with weak or moderate southeast winds, making visibility difficult not only at night but also in the morning hours. The air temperature at night will be +2 to +5 degrees.
In Riga, it will be cloudy throughout the night with occasional light rain. The air temperature will be around +5 degrees.
On Saturday, cloudy and gray weather will persist across the country. A new area of precipitation will move from the southwest into Latvia, bringing rain to many places. The wind will remain weak or moderate, blowing from the southeast.
The air temperature during the day will be +3 to +7 degrees.
Cloudy and rainy weather is also expected in Riga. The daytime temperature will be the same as the nighttime temperature - around +5 degrees.
